The victims past trauma causes them to have distorted thinking such as catastrophizing. That is really based on malfunction of the amygdala gland. These are usually categorized like the following list .

With their misfortune, they become the victim of new predators. The new predator explore the victims' vulnerability and triggers that are created by the first trauma. That is usually done by the way of trial and error. That is called exasperation method.

The newly found triggers would get stimulated within given time interval. That is called intermittent reinforcement. They increase the intensity and occurrence as the time goes on.

In the meantime , by the way of trial and error , they will find other triggers and exasperation that impact the victim. The nature of this activity is stalking.

During the calm period of the intermittent reinforcement. The victim faces the new strain of PTSD, which is very different from the PTSD that he had before the new ordeal started . That is accumulation of triggers from Trauma 1 and Trauma 2. This calm period is used as another round of "tribal gaslighting".

This ordeal damages “sympathetic nervous system” (responsible for fear and anger) as well as hippocampus (responsible for memory and spatial relationship ) parts of the brain.

The victims usually dies or commit suicide or get to the vegetable state as the result of incurring brain damage. It is very hard to survive through the ordeal.
